Victoria Price is an American anchor/reporter. She works for WFLA, virtual channel 8, an NBC-affiliated TV station licensed to the Tampa Bay area in Florida. Due to this, she is currently based in Tampa.

Victoria Price Early Life

She attended Boston University. Here, she worked with the campus’ station BUTV10 in various stories for a number of years. Apart from journalism and media, she also worked as a teaching assistant in the campus’ school of communication. This work was what got her her first position in TV news as well as great prominence.

Victoria Price Career

2009-10

Her career in journalism began back in 2009 as a Reporter/Studio Assistant for BUTV10, a Boston University’s student-operated media production, and distribution network. Here, she produced news packages and feature stories on events at Boston University. He also occasionally served as an anchor and camera operator. She took the job in September of 2009. 4 months later, she dropped it.

A while after leaving her first job, she took on a role in the same station as an Administrative Coordinator in January of the next year. In this role, she was in charge of communication between reporters and executive producers/board. She also was in charge of managing the social media pages for the station. She acted as the studio director during live shots and was a member of the show’s, Inside Boston, Executive board. After spending one year and 5 months working there, she left in May of 2011.

2011

In June 2011, she became a Corporate Entertainment Intern at Fifteen Minutes Public Relations. She served as an assistant to a publicity account executive. She dealt with various clients like Alloy Entertainment and Mandalay Pictures. Her roles involved reaching out to media in order to pitch clients, developing pitches, planning events, as well as working red carpets along with other high-profile events. She left this role after three months of working there.

After completing her internship, she returned to BUTV10 as an Associate Producer. She only stayed here for the time between September 2011 and December 2011. She was responsible for coordinating and overseeing the production of all reporter packages that broadcasted in each newscast. This included giving guidance to reporters. She also served as a studio director during live shoots. In this role, she still worked in the show “Inside Boston”.

2012

In the year 2012, Victoria Price took on a number of roles. The first was as a contributor for CamdenPudding.com. She interviewed bands and made reviews on gigs in London. Next, she became a reporter/intern for Hayes FM_Film and Media. She reported, edited and produced news and feature radio pieces in London. Lastly, she worked as an Online Olympic Correspondent / Intern for WBZ-TV| CBS Boston. She covered the 2012 London Olympics. She also created content in the coverage in cooperation with Boston University.

Still, in 2012, she went back to Boston and BUTV10. She worked as an Anchor for Decision 2012, the 4-hour election special. She also served as an executive producer for Inside Boston, butv10’s award-winning news-magazine program. This was in the time between August 2012 to May 2013.

2013

For 2013, she also took on many roles. The first ones were at the Boston University College of Communication. She was an Interviewer/Video Assistant and also a teaching assistant. Alongside that, she also worked as a Newsroom/Assignment Desk/Special Projects Intern for New England Cable News. Towards the end of 2013, she joined KAMC-TV as a Weekend anchor/reporter. She worked there until May 2015.

2015-Present

She left KAMC in 2015. After this, she joined FOX 16 and KARK 4. She worked in Fox as a plain reporter whereas, in KARK, she also did some anchoring. During this time, she was based in Little Rock, the capital and most populous city of the U.S. state of Arkansas. She spent three years working in these stations. In 2018, she joined WFLA-TV as an anchor/reporter. Since she is a native of San Diego, she was glad to be back by the beach and serving the Tampa Bay community.
