Towkio Sexual Allegation
A tweet was brought forward of a woman claiming she was sexually coerced by the rapper. The allegations were made by Twitter user @pppermint in January of 2016.
Prior to deactivating his Twitter account entirely, the rapper- in a deleted tweet – acknowledged engaging in what he claims was an ongoing, consensual relationship with the woman dating back into 2014. The rapper added that the relationship often went ahead involving other partners as well, a detail he purportedly added in hopes to “provide context.” He tweeted: “It is of the utmost importance to me that she and the entire world know with 100 [percent] certainty and my hand to God that I would never engage in any intercourse with any women without full consent,” the rapper continued. “While I absolutely deny these allegations, I feel awful that I would be a source of pain for her. It is my hope that her and I can engage in a dialogue in a place where she feels comfortable to discuss our relationship and her feelings.”
Haight Brand, an artist services company co-founded by Chance’s manager Pat Corcoran, who formerly co-managed Towkio, announced last night that it has “separated all business ties” with the rapper. (A representative for the company did not respond to a request for comment). A representative for Biz3, whose owner Kathryn Frazier co-managed Towkio, told Spin that the company is “not currently doing press or management” with him.
