Steve Johnson (Steven Berlin Johnson) is an author of popular science, television presenter and media theorist. He has authored 9 books majoring on science, technology, and personal experience. One of his best-selling book is “Everything Bad is Good for You: How Today’s Popular Culture Is Actually Making Us Smarter”.

He was a distinguished writer at the Journalism School of New York University. He even won a Newhouse School Mirror Award for the 2009 TIME magazine cover article called “How Twitter Will Change the Way We Live”. Steve has been hosting the podcast “American Innovations” created by Wondery since May 2018.
