Sarah Swistak is an award-winning American News Anchor. She is currently the evening anchor of Fox 47 in Lansing, Michigan. she joined the news team in February 2014. Before she joined Fox 47 she worked as a reporter and news anchor for other news stations including WTAJ-TV, KAAL-TV, and KTVM-TV. She 8 years chasing after her dreams across the country and landed an opportunity to work in her hometown. She made her debut on national television (MSNBC) in December 2007, through a series of live reports on Evel Knievel’s funeral. After two months later, she appeared on Nightly News with Brian Williams for her coverage of Super Tuesday.
Sarah Swistak has a passion for asking questions and a love for telling quirky stories. She was recently named Best in Category for news reporting by the Michigan Association of Broadcasters. She was nominated for an Emmy for her work on #SWISStrong, a monthly cancer series she started in honor of her late brother, Steve, who passed away from esophageal cancer.
