Natasha Richardson was an actress and has worked on stage as well as on screen. She belonged to the British community as well as the member of the Redgrave family. She has won the title of  Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical, the Drama Desk Award, and the Outer Critics Circle Award for her performance as Sally Bowles in 1998.

She was born on 11th May 1963 in Marylebone, London. Natasha Richardson died on 18 March 2009. She died due to a skiing accident in Quebec, Canada which hit her head and suffering from an epidural hematoma. She died at the age of 46.

Richardson started her career history from 1984 in the regional theatre at the West Yorkshire Playhouse in Leeds. There she had appeared in A Midsummer Night’s Dream with Ralph Fiennes and Richard E. Grant. In the same year, she had made her first credited screen appearance as an art tutor in the James Scott.

Then later in 1986, she stared in the film Gothic and in A Month in the Country the next year. In 1988, she had signed up with Director Paul Schrader for her title role in Patty Hearst. She had also appeared in The Favour, the Watch and the Very Big Fish in 1991. Similarly, she had appeared in many films like  The Parent Trap in 1998, Blow Dry in 2001, Chelsea Walls in 2001, Waking Up in Reno in 2002, Asylum in 2005, and Evening in 2007. She was last spotted on the film was as headmistress of a girls’ school in the 2008 comedy Wild Child.

Then she had recorded offscreen from the year 2009. Not only film and theatre she had also worked on television shows. In the year 1984, she had her first small role on CBS miniseries Ellis Island and also made her British television episode of the BBC series Oxbridge Blues the same year. Next year she was seen as Violet Hunter in The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, in the episode entitled “The Copper Beeches”. Likewise, she starred with Judi Dench, Michael Gambon and Kenneth Branagh in 1987, portrayed Zelda Fitzgerald in 1993, starred in Haven in 2001 on CBS and The Mastersons of Manhattan in 2007 on NBC.
