Michael DeLuise (Full name- Michael Robert DeLuise) is an American actor, film director, and film producer who was born on August 4, 1969, Los Angeles, California, U.S. He is most notable for his roles on seaQuest DSV (as Tony Piccolo) and 21 Jump Street (as Joey Penhall).
DeLuise also appeared in numerous episodes of Brooklyn South (as Phil Roussakoff), as well as in the films Wayne’s World (1992) and The Man Without a Face (1993). DeLuise and Danny Strong both played recurring roles on the The WB series Gilmore Girls.

He first appeared on screen during his childhood years, playing a small role in the 1979 comedy feature Hot Stuff. The film starred his dad Dom DeLuise, Suzanne Pleshette, Jerry Reed and Ossie Davis. Dom DeLuise also directed the movie (the only film where he did so), and the song “Hot Stuff” was written and performed by Reed. The film script was co-written by best-selling crime novelist Donald E. Westlake.
