Jerry Booth is an American journalist working as a traffic reporter for WTOP News. In his spare time, Jerry enjoys playing drums, going to concerts, working out, and spending time with his wife and two cats.

Jerry has been on the radio in D.C. furthermore, Baltimore regions for over 20 years — first, as a music radio plate jockey, then joining the now outdated Metro Traffic in 1997.
In the wake of moving to the D.C. region in 2002, Jerry worked for an organization giving traffic data to XM Radio, then to a traffic subcontractor, where he did reports for various radio and Television slots in the mid-Atlantic.
Jerry arrived at WTOP in mid-2014, where you can hear him doing writes about air, recording realities from mishap scenes, noting tip brings in the WTOP Traffic Center, or holding down a respectable starting point in the WTOP softball crew.
