The “Who’s That Girl” hitmaker has no children of her own yet. In 2017, she expressed her frustration over the question of whether she is ever going to get pregnant. On The Talk, a U.S. chat show where she is a co-host, she said, “I am so sick about people making a big deal about women’s ages. They don’t do this to men. My 39th birthday is (soon) and the one question that I get is, ‘How old are you again? Oh, you don’t have any kids…’ And I’m like, ‘You heard me say how old I am’.”

She also went on to say that she is trying to be pregnant but it is inappropriate to ask. Nevertheless, she is a stepmom to her husband’s four children.

Eve The Rapper’s Career

In her young years, she sang in several choirs and formed an all-girls singing group called Dope Girl Posse or D.G.P. and it had a manager. The group covered songs from En Vogue and Color Me Badd. Soon after seeing ABC, the group’s manager suggested that the group start rapping and Eve stuck with it. She then formed a rap group which split, sadly, and she begaan her solo career under the name “Eve of Destruction”.

As Eve of Destruction, the rapper was signed to Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Entertainment collaborated with DMX and the Ruff Ryders on her first single. Her second single, “What Ya Want”, featuring Nokio peaked at no. 29 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.

In the summer of 2002, she released Eve-Olution, her third album and it topped the Billboard 200 at number six. She has sung since the year 1998 and on November 2017, she became a permanent co-host on The Talk, replacing Aisha Tyler.

She has also appeared in several films: with Ice Cube in all three Barbershop films (Barbershop, Barbershop 2: Back in Business and Barbershop: The Next Cut), with actor Vin Diesel in XXX, with Queen Latifah and Meagan Good in The Cookout and with Kevin Bacon in The Woodsman. In the video game XIII, she is the voice behind the character Major Jones , as well as one of the villains of the short-lived show Spider-Man Animated Series on MTV.
