Chris Distefano is an American comedian, script writer and actor born on 26th August 1984 in Brooklyn, New York, U.S. He stars in MTV and MTV2’s TV shows Guy Code and Girl Code. He co-hosts Ultimate Beastmaster on Netflix and also Bay Ridge Boys, a webseries.

Chris began his career in comedy by writing short short comedy scripts and performing the scripts at local comedy club. His acts at the time were mostly inspired by Jay Leno’s shows.

He began forwarding his scripts to prestigious comedy clubs and later got a chance to perform at Gotham Comedy Club, one of the most popular clubs. He impressed the audience and became a regular act which opened doors to other opportunities to perform at many other comedy clubs like Carolines on Broadway and Comedy Cellar.

In 2010 he got his breakthrough when he hosted the Fencing Masters US Olympics. This brought him major recognition and suddenly became the most sought-after celebrity host of the time. In 2011 he hosted the NCAA Women’s Division I Basketball Championship.

In 2012 he hosted ‘March Madness Comedy Competition’, a comedy show, at Carolines on Broadway. He also gave the perfect opening act of other comedians like Richard Lewis, Gilbert Gottfried and Artie Lange.

He has been a regular guest on ‘Opie with Jim Norton’, a radio show hosted by Gregg Hughes and Jim Norton.

In 2013 he presented a 90 minute act at ‘Comic-Con’, the 2013 comic convention held in San Diego. He also presented the first season of MTV’s TV show, ‘Ain’t That America’ with comedian Lil Duval. In the same year he was a guest artist on CBS’ late-night talk show, ‘Late Show with David Letterman’. In 2014 he hosted ‘Off the Bat from the MLB Fan Cave’, a sports talk show.

Ultimate Beastmaster

Chris is a host of Ultimate Beastmaster, an American competition reality show which premiered on February 24, 2017 on Netflix. The show showcases international talent and also six localized countries. The show features select television hosts, actors, comedians and athletes as commentators from the six countries competing in the show.

In each episode there are twelve contestants (2 from each country) who run a new obstacle course known as “The Beast”. The winner is crowned “Beastmaster”. Each of the “Beastmasters” from the nine Beastmaster episodes will go forward to a final course, to become the Ultimate Beastmaster.
