Conte has produced an award-winning documentary together with a team of photojournalists on the wildfires called “Fire On The Mountain”.

He likes running and so far he has completed eight marathons and a few triathlons. He used to race competitively for Boston University’s downhill ski team.

Chris got into the news business as a reporter for his college’s newspaper and from there he went to anchor/report for a local cable access station in Newton called NewTV. He interned at New England Cable News and was an i-Team intern for WBZ-TV, the CBS affiliate in Boston.

In 2008, he joined WCVB, Needham where he served as a Writer for Hearst-Argyle’s flagship station in Boston. He would also work in the field with reporters, gathering material for live-shots and packages. In 2009, he joined  KTTV, Rochester as an anchor/Reporter/Producer. Conte would shoot, write and edit his own stories.

Conte joined WHAM, Rochester in New York City in 2011 as a Reporter. Currently, he is working at WTVF, Nashville in Tennessee as a Reporter. He Reports live for the CBS Evening News.
