Charley Belcher is an American journalist working as a feature reporter for FOX 13 News. His stories are usually on air from Monday to Friday mornings on Good Day Tampa Bay.

They are usually on the segment, Charley’s World. He was born in Ft. Myers and grew up in the Tampa Bay area. He attended Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina, USA. Charley is a three-time Emmy grant-winning element journalist. His accounts air Monday through Friday mornings on Good Day Tampa Bay in a portion called “Charley’s World.”

They are anecdotes about individuals and occasions in the Tampa Bay territory by and large from Charley’s imaginative point of view. Charley has won three Suncoast Regional Emmy Awards for his element revealing throughout the years.

Florida Maritime Museum focuses on Tampa Bay’s fishing history

The Florida Maritime Museum takes pride in the local fishing industry.

The museum is sponsored by the Manatee County Clerk of Circuit Courts and is situated on almost four acres of land. It was founded on the importance of the regional commercial fishing industry.

FMM tells a number of stories pertaining to all aspects of Florida’s maritime history. Exhibits include historic photographs, boat models, tools, instruments, and other historic artifacts. The museum also features a large collection of shells from the Gulf of Mexico.

Along with their permanent exhibits, they have a visiting exhibit called, “The Greek Communities of Tarpon Springs and the Bahamas: An Intertwined History.”
