Ashley Jones (full name: Ashley Aubra Jones) is an American actress born in Memphis, Tennessee, U.S. She is best known for her roles in soap operas as Megan Dennison on The Young and the Restless and as Dr. Bridget Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful.
Jones attended Lamar High School in Houston, alma mater of fellow actors Jaclyn Smith, Robert Foxworth, and Tommy Tune. She also attended the Houston High School for Performing Arts. A famous alumnus of the same school includes Beyoncé, Lisa Hartman Black, Renée O’Connor (Xena: Warrior Princess (1995)), Chandra Wilson (Grey’s Anatomy (2005)), and fellow soap actress Amelia Marshall (All My Children (1970) and Passions (1999)).
Jones filmed her first commercial at the age of five. She also starred in several theatre productions in the Actors Theatre of Houston including The Women, Ah, Wilderness!, and Neil Simon’s Brighton Beach Memoirs at the age of nine. Jones was in The Chalk Garden by Enid Bagnold at the age of 12.
