Adam Sullivan is an American weekend anchor for WCAX, a CBS-affiliated T.V. station licensed to Burlington, Vermont, United States. When he is not sitting behind the anchor desk in Burlington, he’s out in the field reporting news for the WCAX Upper Valley Bureau in West Lebanon.

Adam began working at his current station since June of 2010. As a reporter, he covers one of Burningham’s fastest growing areas focusing on crime, health care, education, and politics. He is eager to cover New Hampshire’s first-in-the-nation primary every four years.

In 2012, Adam was part of the team that received a regional Edward R. Murrow award, for Tropical Storm Irene coverage, and for best small market newscast in New England.

The weekend anchor previously reported for WCAX-TV in Plattsburgh, N.Y. While there, he covered hundreds of breaking news stories as well as memorable moments. For instance, he tackled the 25th anniversary of the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid.

Adam graduated from St. Michael’s College with a degree in Journalism. When he’s not at work covering the news, he can frequently be spotted hiking in the beautiful White Mountains with his wife and two kids.
